Sunlit Shallows is a study of light moving across clear, shallow water. The shifting blues, turquoise and sea greens, the fragments of sunlight beneath the surface, and the quiet rhythm of water in motion. Each painting captures a different interpretation of that fleeting moment when sunlight meets the sea.

Sea Glass Surf explores the softer side of the shallows, with layers of blue, turquoise and muted green. Pale marks drift across the surface like sunlight reaching the sea floor, creating a quiet, painterly study of colour, light and water.

Behind the Work
I am an artist, surface pattern designer and environmental/coastal marine scientist. Every design I make comes from a spark of inspiration from my own lived experiences, living by the sea, scientific work and travel. I create surface pattern designs that reflect the ocean, coastal living and tropical escapes, providing that feeling of being there, connection to place and memories of having been there
With a background in environmental and marine science, my Art always has a story behind it, drawn from sunlit shorelines, salt air, and the rhythm of the ocean. Designs to bring those connections, memories and a sense being there for your products.
